Lucas kept their undefeated record intact with a convincing 46-19 win over Mid-Buckeye Conference rival St. Peter’s at the Franciscan Activity Center in downtown Mansfield.

The Lady Cubs played strong defense early, building a 17-8 first quarter advantage and kept their defensive intensity up as the Spartans failed to score a single second quarter bucket, trailing at the half 27-8.

Lucas only allowed 4 points in the third as St. Peter’s, who gave it all they had with 3 key players out with ACL injuries, struggled to find a rhythm offensively. The Cubs would then cruise to a decisive victory, holding their second consecutive opponent under 20 points.

Leading the offensive charge for Lucas was Paige Arnold who scored 14 points, while Jamie Grover had nine and Kali Nolen added eight.
Sophie Tridico and Sydney Cavanaugh were the Spartan lead scorers with six points each.

St. Peters now falls to 1-4 while the Lucas Cubs stay undefeated at 6-0.
