The Madison Rams captured their second Division II Regional Championship in the last three seasons with a 10-1 blowout win over Oak Harbor at Clyde High School.

 

The Lady Rams showcased their explosive offense early and often, with junior Taylor Huff getting the scoring started less than 2 minutes into the match on her way to a 4-goal performance. Kari Eckenwiler also found the back of the net four times as Madison built an 8-1 halftime edge with Oak Harbor’s Hannah Schulte scoring the only Rockets goal.

Senior Kailie Blaising and Junior Phyllis Stanfield each added Madison goals as the #2 ranked Lady Rams dominated their way to a Region 6 championship.

Madison (17-1-4) now advances to the State Semi-final against Chagrin Falls, a 2-0 winner over Akron Copley to clinch their region. Time and location are yet to be determined.
