GALION -- Ontario continues to roll with their third straight victory, defeating Galion for the first time in school history 28-0 at Heise Park.
The Warriors opportunistic defense mixed with a solid run game helped tame the shorthanded Tigers, who led 7-0 early in the second quarter following a 1-yard Jaylon Scott TD run then seized the momentum on an 81-yard pick-six by Owen Hatfield with just 52 seconds left in the half.
Scott added his second 1-yard rushing score to give Ontario a 21-0 edge at the beginning of the third quarter and carried that advantage into the fourth where Ethan Snyder ran in a 6-yard TD to close out the scoring. Scott rushed for 109 yards and 2 scores on 25 carries, as the Warriors racked up 233 rushing yards on the night.
Wilson Frankhouse accounted for 209 of Galion's 248 total yards of offense, throwing a pair of interceptions as his Tigers dropped their second straight game.
Next up for Ontario (3-2) is a date at Marion Pleasant (1-4) while the Tigers (2-3) host Lucas (4-1) to close out the regular season.
