
Northmor Handles Rival Mt. Gilead In Straight Sets

NORTH BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH -- The Northmor Golden Knights kept its unblemished record in tact defeating rival Mt. Gilead in straight sets on Monday night at The Castle.
The Golden Knights (4-1, 2-0 KMAC) used an 8-0 run early in the opening set to roll to a 25-10 set victory. The second set was the same story as Northmor used another early run to cruise to a 25-11 set win and a 2-0 match lead.
Mt. Gilead (0-3, 0-2 KMAC) wouldn't bow down easily, however, jumping out to a lead in the third set. The Indians led 20-16 before the Golden Nights put together one more run outscoring the visitors 9-0 to take the match.
Northmor will next be in action on Tuesday, September 8th when they travel to East Knox while Mt. Gilead will also be in action on the 8th when they host Centerburg. Both matches are scheduled to begin at 6:30 PM.
