Lady Cougars Shred Wildcats 52-39
OLIVESBURG --- Coming off a huge loss to St Paul, the Cougars got over the loss quickly as they turned around to host New London on Senior day.
The Cougars won in fashion 52-39. Kenedi Goon was a force to be reckoned with blocking shots and getting easy opportunities down low. Mary Leeper was dishing out assists to Kylie Ringler and Destiny Lafever.
Ringler knocked down 4 triples in the win over New London. Lafever not far behind as she added in 2 threes on senior day. The score at the end of 2 was 31-18.
New London tried to hang around with Kiaya Thierry, leading scorer for girls hoops in the firelands conference, willing her team to not quit.
However eventually the Cougars would be too much for the Wildcats to handle. Crestview would eventually pull away late and pick up another win in the Firelands Conference and move to 9-1 in the Firelands.
Cougars we’re on a 27 game winning streak in the conference until St Paul spoiled it. Crestview still are atop the Conference with the Flyers.
Your Kissels Lawncare player of the game was Kenedi Goon who had another dominate performance in the low post. Scoring, blocking and stealing passes.
