MANSFIELD -- Crosstown rivals Madison and Ontario dueled it out on the baseball diamond where the Rams earned a hard-fought 7-6 victory.

The visiting Warriors jumped out in front 1-0 until the Rams would charge back behind a two-run RBI and took the advantage 3-2 in the fourth. Ontario, who always seems to be clawing from behind when facing adversity, did it again with Caden Armstrong smashing a two-run shot in the 6th for a 4-3 lead.

The Madison bats would then get hot as they notched 4 runs in the 6th inning to take a commanding 7-4 lead. The Warriors tried to fight back in the last inning of play where they would hang two runs on the board to make it a one-score game, but Ian Mcgregor had a game-sealing diving catch in right field to end the game.
