JFK Knocks Out Lucas 21-0 For Regional Title
LUCAS -- The Lucas drive for a return to the state final four came to a close in the Division VII Region 25 Championship at Warren Harding where top-seeded J.F.K. knocked out the Cubs 21-0 to claim the title.
After a long sustained opening drive took Lucas (7-3) into the Eagles red zone, J.F.K. would stop the Cubs on a fourth-down conversion attempt before marching down the field for a touchdown. Lucas would fail to reach the red zone again until late in the fourth quarter while Eagles sr. QB Cam Hollobaugh fueled their offensive attack.
Hollobaugh accounted for all three J.F.K. touchdowns with two rushing and one throwing score, and even came up with a second-half interception to help cement the victory. For his efforts, Hollobaugh was named our Next Generation Films Player of the Game.
