Cougars Roll Over Raiders To Finals
OLIVESBURG - Crestview lady Cougars hosted Lakota for a first-round matchup in tournament play.
Cougars would be too much for Lakota to handle and eventually prevail 61-30.
It was the defense once again for Crestview forcing a multitude of Raider turnovers which would lead to easy three-point opportunities from Kylie Ringler and company.
Crestview got out in front early with a 16-5 lead after one. The story would be the same for the 2nd period of play as Crestview continued to build on their lead to make it an uphill battle for the Lady Raiders
The 3rd period was where Crestview would finally pull away from Lakota. Much credit to Mary Leeper, Keendi Goon and Kylie Ringler. The trio kept their foot on the gas to eventually put the Lady Raiders to sleep.
Crestview forced 9 Raider's 2nd half turnovers which would help the Cougars crush Lakota in a 61-30 victory.
The Cougars will now travel to play the Carey Blue Devils on Saturday.
