Clear Fork Stuns Galion 6-2
BELLVILLE --- The Clear Fork Colts got a big early-season MOAC victory knocking off Galion 6-2 behind a complete game effort from Jared Scott.
The Colts (4-4, 2-1) struck first in the bottom of the first with two runs and added another in the bottom of the second which appeared to be plenty for Scott, who threw three innings of no-hit ball.
The Tigers (6-3, 3-2) finally got on base and on the board in the top of the fourth with two runs and had two more on base, but Scott was able to get out of the jam with the lead.
Clear Fork then gave Scott insurance in the bottom of the fifth batting around to add three more onto the board and a 6-2 lead.
Scott went the distance for the victory while allowing two runs on six hits while striking out six.
