Ray Carries Bellevue By Galion 34-9
BELLEVUE -- Top-seeded Bellevue overcame a slow start in their second-round playoff matchup against Galion for a runaway 34-9 victory behind senior quarterback Keegan Ray's workhorse effort.
The 15th seeded Tigers (4-4) hung tough early, as Wilson Frankhouse responded to a 95-yard Mason Miller kickoff return for a score with a 1-yard TD run just before the half to trim the Redmen edge to 12-9 heading into the break. Ray would take over in the second half, racking up nearly 300 yards of total offense on the night as he ran in a pair of TD's to help advance Bellevue (7-0) into the Division IV Region 14 quarterfinals where they will face #8 Kenton (4-3) at home.
