MOUNT GILEAD --- The East Knox Bulldogs withstood a late Mount Gilead surge to knock off the Indians 52-46.

After a low scoring 8-7 opening quarter the Bulldogs (9-7, 6-5 KMAC) settled down outscoring the Indians (6-10, 5-6 KMAC) 15-7 to take a 23-14 lead into the break.

​

East Knox then extended its lead to double digits at 12 with just over a minute left in the third, but Mount Gilead would go on a 20-10 run over the next 8 minutes to cut the deficit to 2 with a minute and a half left in the game, but the Bulldogs would hit its free throws down the stretch to clinch the victory.
