Hillsdale hosted WCAL rival Dalton for a Sectional tournament game where the Lady Falcons would prevail 11-1 through 6 innings. 

 

Hillsdale’s defense was exceptional today as they allowed only 4 hits versus 21 batters. Quite the performance from pitcher Bryn Grabowski who had 10 strikeouts with only one walk. 

 

The offense would catch up as they would put 4 runs up in the bottom of the 2nd all coming from RBI’s. The Falcons wouldn’t stop there as they got a run in the bottom of the 3rd and would explode in the bottom of 4 as Olivia Traylor would have a 2 run RBI double that would have Hillsdale up 8-0. 

 

Dalton managed to get a run on board late in the game, however, Hillsdale would put the game away as Lacy Fickes had a 2 run RBI that would end the game after 6 innings 11-1. The Falcons seem to always get hot during tournament time, they advance in the D4 softball tournament.
