MANSFIELD -- Crestline continued their hot start to the season with a 6-2 win at Mansfield Senior, improving to 5-1 with their second win over Senior High.

The Bulldogs dropped runs on the board in each of the first two innings, but RBI from Mansfield's Quintin Little and Graham Sanders in the second and third knotted things up at 2-2. A Caden Parsons RBI fielder's choice nearly ended in a double-play but instead put Crestline on top for good in the fifth.

 

 A barrage of Dogs offense in the top of the sixth would create some separation on the scoreboard, scoring a trio of runs before bad weather swept through the area and ended the game before the inning finished. Brock Noblit finished the game 2-4 with a triple, double, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored to lead Crestline in the batter's box while senior pitcher Ethan Clark got the win with 5 IP, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits with 7 K's.
