Brokaw Named New Clear Fork Athletic Director

BELLVILLE --- Clear Fork High School has its new Athletic Director as former Lexington girls basketball head coach Jessica Brokaw has been named to the position.

"My retirement plan for my future was to become an AD," said Brokaw. "I have this opportunity at a much earlier age than I thought I would and I did what I thought was best for me."

For Brokaw, the valley is not an unfamiliar place for her as she has many ties to the school and community in which she hopes with her position, is able to give back to.

"I have a huge family history at Clear Fork," said Brokaw. "Once I moved back here from being at the college level I did seventh grade here and know a lot of people in the community so I'm really excited for the opportunity."

The move was not an easy choice for Brokaw as she had pictured herself as coach at her alma mater for a longer period of time.

"The hardest thing was telling the team," said Brokaw. "I've preached honesty, integrity, and truthness with them and working hard and dedication so they were my number one priority to tell. It was very, very tough because I'm passionate and love basketball and I think they're building something great at Lexington."
