   Colonel Crawford vs  UPPER SANDUSKY

Northern 10 Conference Boys Basketball

Upper Steamrolls Crawford 69-40

A critical Northern 10 Conference contest between Colonel Crawford and Upper Sandusky was a runaway from the start, as the Rams knocked down 13 triples in a 69-40 route of their league rivals.

Mason Vent was the catalyst of Upper's strong start, scoring 10 points in the opening frame followed by seven more in the second as he outscored Crawford on his own 17-14 in the first half. The Rams would pour in 26 first quarter points on the strength of six 3-pointers, adding a dozen more points in the second with Evan Young netting 10 of his 17 in the first two frames.

The Eagles came out of the locker room with a renewed energy by knocking down some early shots but Upper Sandusky would match them most of the way, only allowing Crawford to cut down their deficit by three at 55-34. A sound defensive effort by the Rams would then finish off the lopsided win with a 14-6 advantage in the fourth to extend their winning streak to 12-straight games.

Vent finished the night with a game-high 22 points to go along with Young's 17, while Cam McCreary and Brett Montgomery each added 11 to pace Upper's offense. Jordan Fenner led the Eagles with 12 points, followed by Chase Walker with 10 and Gavin Feichtner with nine.

The win vaults the Rams to 12-1, 8-0 in the league while the Eagles dip to 9-3 and 6-2.
