Warriors Knock Off Colts 11-5, Stay Atop The MOAC

ONTARIO ---  The Ontario Warriors remained alone atop the MOAC standings with a comeback 11-5 victory over Clear Fork.

The Warriors (7-6, 4-1 MOAC) took advantage of a couple Colts miscues to strike first in the bottom of the first with three runs, but Clear Fork (5-7, 2-3 MOAC) answered back, thanks to Warrior miscues, with a three-spot in the top of the second to tie things up.

The Colts then took the lead scoring a run in the third and fourth, but Ontario broke out for a big inning to

take control in the fifth scoring five runs, four with two out, to lead 8-5.

The Warriors then put up an insurance run in the fifth and two more in the sixth to cement the win and remain a game ahead of Shelby in the loss column for sole possession of first in the league.
