Carey Fuels Upper In 79-35 Win Over Bucyrus
UPPER SANDUSKY --- Upper Sandusky is a perennial powerhouse in men's hoops under head coach Jeff Winslow and the defending Northern 10 Conference champs continued their impressive run with a 79-35 win over Bucyrus.
The Rams came out scorching from downtown as Cade Adams dropped in two triples and Jackson Smalley knocked in one as well. 22-8 was your first quarter score in favor of Upper and the Rams never looked back dominating on the boards by collecting 29 total rebounds throughout the game.
Upper started the 3rd quarter on a 14-2 run and expanded their lead to 68-24 heading into the last period of play as Quest Federal Credit Union Player of the Game Gavin Carey showed out in the 4th with 6 of his game-high 24 in the quarter as Owen Knapp also added in a triple.
Upper Sandusky goes to 8-4 overall and 6-1 in N10 while Bucyrus falls to 2-7, and 1-6 in N10.
Upper Sandusky travels to Mohawk, and Bucyrus travels to Wynford.
