Arrows Drill Tygers 87-44
MANSFIELD -- After a competitive, yet unsuccessful 0-5 start, Mansfield Senior tasted victory for the first time this season by knocking off OCC rival Ashland 39-30 at Pete Henry Gymnasium.
The Arrows (1-8) would dominate the glass in the opening half to hold a slim 21-20 advantage through two quarters of play but would go ice cold from the floor for the rest of the contest. The Lady Tygers (1-5) clamped down defensively, holding Ashland to just two points in the third as they built a double-digit lead and never looked back.
