MANSFIELD -- For the second time this season, Ashland proved they were the better team against OCC rival Mansfield Senior as the Arrows outscored the Tygers in each quarter of their meeting at Pete Henry Gym in a 54-44 victory.

Behind Janney Player of the Game Eli White's game-high 20 points, Ashland (17-4, 10-2) would build a slim 14-13 edge headed into the second where the Arrows enjoyed their best scoring output with 16 points to just a dozen for Mansfield Senior (8-9, 5-5).

Luke Denbow also had a big night for Ashland with 18 pts and 9 assists, helping keep his squad in front at 45-38 entering the fourth quarter where a 9-6 Arrows advantage secured a season sweep over Senior High.
